1. Annotation is taken notes. There are three steps before doing annotation for a passage. The first thing you would have to do is read the passage. Second you would re-read the passage again. Last you annotate your ideas of the reading. The reason you do annotation is to develop the process of what you are reading.
During your annotation you look for this three ideas
· The important ideas
· Thesis or claim
· Words you need to look up
2. Annotation for “Is Goggle Making US Stupid” is that once you Google the information you would easily forget what you are learning. Almost every person skims thru the article and don’t take the time to understand and process fully the information. Within my group they particle agree and disagree with the article. Some believe that goggle is making us smart. The reason they believe that, “is because the information we don’t know we can look it up based on Google.”
3. I learned that annotation is important to your reading because it would help you understand the article. When you done with the annotating the article it would give you ideas on what to write on your essay.
