The matrix was about how technology can be a major influence in our life. Each person can choose what they want to do with their life and what they believe in. I believe that "The Matrix", "The Truman Show" and "The Allegory of the Cave"is showing that technology is taken control of our lifestyle. Our world choose technology to run and/or help our lives. There can be the importance, an impact and even spoiling ourselves with technology.
Technology is important to our society. The reason is that we watch the news on television to get our information that is based on our community or regions. For example the election of President Obama. He was the first African American to become President. The Nation Wide first experience his winning election and his speech of address in Washington D.C through television or on the computer. Another reason technology is important is because we humans use the internet as a social network to communicate with other people from different part of the countries. They use Myspace, Facebook, and even twitter.
Technology have an major impact within us, the reason is that it can bring the world to destruction or we can destroy each other. For example, during World War 1,2 and the Cuban Missile crises. Every country was competing with one another based on who had the strongest weapon. Weapon of destruction are not the only problem, technology such as cell phones and Ipods can cause accidents as well. A student from Laguardia Community College was in a accident who got run over by a garbage truck. The cause of the accident was that the student didn't listen nor watch both ways while crossing the street because he was listening to their Ipod.
Technology can be a negative and a positive way for our life style.
